We are coming up on the 3rd anniversary of what I think is my first debunking post. And yes, I know some of you went to a class where you “released your hips” and cried. Your body is absolutely affected by stress and traumatic events, but it isn’t “storing trauma” or “storing emotions.” That’s what your brain is for. Making your body better is good for you, but if you have trauma, there is more work needed. And if you don’t, crying from hip stretches doesn’t mean that huh do. | Dr. Inna
