Plant these cold loving plants for a delicious FALL garden! It may seem counter intuitive to plant cold loving crops near the end of summer, but they need time to grow in the long summer days before they mature when the weather is right. Start these from seed 2-3 months before your First frost date and you will be rewarded with a sweet and delicious harvest. Comment FROST and I will send you the details to sign up to our free weekly newsletter @gardeningweekly where you will get my complete list

Bringing plants inside for cold season = sadness. I grew over 60 houseplants outside this Spring and Summer here in Indiana. Night temps are officially below 50 degrees so it’s time they all came in. I use an insecticidal soap when cleaning the leaves, repot if needed, or replace the first 2 inches of soil to refresh before bringing them in. Grow lights I’m using is the pendant light from @soltech . Code: PlantK22 gives 15% off of their site. Any other questions, leave them down below and follow

Garlic requires at least 45 days of chilling period (vernalization), below 40-45 F in order to develop robust bulbs and divide into cloves. ✅ Plant in full sun (6 hours) in fertile and well-drained soil. Cattail, (genus Typha), genus of about 30 species of tall reedy marsh plants (family Typhaceae), found mainly in temperate and cold regions of the Northern and Southern hemispheres. The plants inhabit fresh to slightly brackish waters and are considered aquatic or semi-aquatic. Cattails are important to wildlife, and many species are also cultivated ornamentally as pond plants and for dried-flower arrangements. The long flat leaves of the common cattail (Typha latifolia) are used especially for

Good morning! 🎃Hope you had a good weekend! We’re still working on planting the rest of the garlic cloves and this earth auger from Power Planter sure comes in handy! I amended the soil with VermisTerra worm castings which improve soil structure as well as adding essential nutrients, trace elements, and beneficial microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi. These microbes help break down organic matter and assist plants with nutrient and water uptake.✅ Consider planting varieties that are adapte
