Hair color that is naturally occurring is typically warm. The sun fades our hair over time, and creates a natural gradient, especially if you’re exposed to sunlight as often as we are here in LA. This is exactly what I wanted to create with my client’s color correction. I used the warmth from her existing tone as a dimensional layer, and dropped the root down significantly so that the unwanted brightness around her face would feel more natural.
