In VirtualBox says no, you can't install Plus. I don't want Plus, only CE.

Mar 16, 2022 · Another option that comes to mind, is transforming the already-in-pfSense lists from pfBlockerNG but, I've never found it easy dealing with any native package-related thing on pfSense. They have some sort of obfuscation or inexplicably obvious oversight, I can't tell exactly what, but will make you miserable.
CE Edition Download??? - Netgate Forum
R. revengineer. May 10, 2024, 3:59 PM. I see that the download page at pfsense.org no longer offers downloads for the CE edition. It now links to the netgate store, where I can purchase for free a beta version of the pfsense+ installer. Is this the not so subtle end of the line for CE?
Pfsense Internet Download Slow - Netgate Forum
Aug 3, 2018 · Googled "Pfsense slow downloads" and Google exploded so I'm assuming this is a common issue. I have 5 pfsense boxes running at work all have the same issue all 5 have different hardware. I have 200 down there and through Pfsense I only get about 50 to 60. No VLANS at work just straight connection to Cisco switches.

Only switch this is internal static assigned is the ProMax... will remove that and do a static assign on the pfSense... was actually thinking the current config, by the switch is told you are 172.16.10.2, irrespective which port is used for uplink... if anything... i would have expected more problems when the Cat6/2.5 GbE and fiber was patch ...

Oct 11, 2024 · I downloaded what was supposed to be pfSense CE v2.7.2. Instead, it appears the downloader has given me a Release Candidate of pfSense Plus. What is up with that? The ISO filename is "netgate-installer-v1.0-RC-amd64-20240919-1435.iso" Also, when I boot the ISO, the boot screen shows "pfSense +".
