That includes a diagnostic check beforehand, a dyno run beforehand (there's no point remapping it if it has issues that need sorting first), several dyno runs during the remapping session, a 'before and after' printout and £20 going to H4H too.

I had this exact fault and changed the speed sensor but it didn't cure it. I opened up the wiring harness as I suspected it and found I had a broken wire in there. Remove the black box completely, The purple and black wire coming from the loom needs to be connected to the solenoid to give unit a 12v feed.

May 23, 2012 · You need to check the fuel filter and air filter for restrictions, that would be a good start. Usually when these thing happen suddenly it is a fuel starvation problem due to a blocked filter/system. After that, i would check out the pump. And find a professional VW van mechanic, these vans often seem to stump normal mechanics.
