The HDFury VRRoom is the only device that can extract HDMI audio and pass VRR. It claims <1ms latency but it costs more than the Xbox Series X and only passes HDMI 2.1 VRR (not FreeSync).

WEBDec 9, 2010 · The funny thing with the V-DAC (which uses the SRC4392, based on the SRC4192) is that you can't indeed measure any jitter in USB mode (with a PCM2706 in adaptive mode), while the SPDIF inputs (hence the optical one) aren't that perfect.

WEBFeb 13, 2016 · A sensitivity of +4 dbu is 1.23 volts and assumes 20 db headroom or +24dbu max input into monitors you might be feeding. 24 dbu is about 12.3 volts. The DAC 1 was set to 2 volts, but could be calibrated to anything up to about 3.7 volts. While it too was meant for pro use it didn't put out as high a voltage.

WEBJun 16, 2017 · USB 1.1 is enough for operation of USB DAC, and wont set any limitations to it (atleast up to sampling rate of 96kHz). It will work as good as it would on USB 3.0 or what ever. So I therefore suggest you buying that affordable isolator and hope it helps.
