Why doesn’t VIZ have an online Shojo Beat subscription like
Mar 4, 2022 · Third answer from 2018 says "there are no plans for a Shojo Beat digital manga subscription or magazine. So with all the money you’re saving with shonen manga, please collect our Shojo Beat manga volumes!". Fourth answer from 2019 says "There are many reasons why Jump is the only one who can try what they’re doing, and it is a test.

You should send your awesome collection pic to Viz Media and Shojo Beat. I imagine the SB staff would get a kick out of this. EDIT: Just saw that you did! I wasn't expecting to see titles from the old Shojo line amongst the Shojo Beat ones.

I sent a message to Shojo Beat through tumblr, which remains unanswered; and I contacted Viz through their contact forms, to which I received a response today (while reddit was down lol). Mar 12, 2023 · Apparently we should all be making special orders through our bookstores to request OOP manga, but it also couldn't hurt to send Shoujo Beat/VIZ a reprint request. At this point though, I don't have much faith in reprints for some series. VIZ appears to be very risk-adverse compared to some other publishers.

I hope they reprint some of the super rare volumes of the older shojo series (Basara 18-20, PSME 9 & 13, FFA 12-14, etc) or even reprint the entire set. Knowing shojo they probably won’t but who knows.
