I don’t see how isopropyl myristate is non polar and octyl palmitate is medium polarity. Read my explanation below. Octyl palmitate is in fact less polar than isopropyl myristate.

Nov 2, 2022 · An oil should be dissolved in oils. To my surprise, the fragrance did not dissolve to my oil blend. What are your comments? I presume there are certain more polar fragrance blends that cannot directly dissolve to less polar oil blends? Are there solubilisers that you have experience with for this cases? I never had to solubilise a fragrance in oil.
