The CST 280 is a compact inverter dc constant current stick welder. I welded with them for about 6 months. It is an excellen stick machine. You won't be disappointed with it on 6010 or 7018. It is not what I would call a tig welder. There is no gas valve or gas timer control. There may be a lift arc start, not sure, never tried tig with one.
