Jan 31, 2023 · Had a 6 wagon that I put 220,000 miles on and loved it. Last time I talked to a Mazda dealer they said it had to do with California emissions and it being such a big market to miss out on they couldn't justify bringing back to the U.S. I drive a CX9 for the room but would trade it for a new 6 wagon in a heartbeat!

The wagon's wheelbase is shorter than the sedan's (strangely enough), but it still doesn't match the wheelbase of the preceding model. And it seems like it would be more work to completely rebody a unibody car than it would be to just make a new model.

Nov 27, 2020 · The best car for you, I think, to go to from a Mazda 6 would be a second gen TSX sport wagon. High-revving 2.4 that makes exactly 200 hp, so def not slow. Plenty of room inside, but it's still based a compact midsize car so again, idk if it would fit your bike. But it's a Honda so put gas and oil in it and it will run forever.

Agree fully I still own a Mazda 6 Diesel 2015 Atenza wagon. Was a great car for a few years but for the past 5 or so it’s been constant trouble. The engine was rebuilt twice, it was then almost fully replaced. Alternator issues. Sensor issues. Vacuum pump issues. Arguing with Mazda Australia after it was out of warranty.

Mar 7, 2018 · The first generation Mazda 6 had all three body styles in North America: sedan, fastback hatch and wagon. I loved both the hatch an wagon. I believe the first generation MazdaSpeed 6 was in the hatch body as well.

We are both huge Mazda fans (couple years back he picked up a used Miata too). I drove a 2001 Protege ES from 2004 to 2018 putting on 100K miles (on top of original 50K) with zero problems. Sold it to a friend who is still driving it.
