The credit card people charge the stores more for digital payments than for card payments, so aldi does not allow digital Instacart payments. For instance my aldi has club (costco) sized packs of toilet paper. In store they are generally $16.99 for 30 rolls of TP, instacart has this listed for $18.99 (which is $2 difference).

I only shop Aldi through Instacart because the local Aldi near me has many homeless in the parking lot, I’d rather pay the fees and tips to get the specialty cheeses from the nicer Aldi further away. So if you see a $20 batch roll in and it's Aldi with 1 customer, and there is nothing else on the dashboard, you could bang that out quick and make the $20 instead of sitting around.

Oct 14, 2021 · The Aldi's I shop at (there are 5) always have at least 2 or 3 people restocking shelves, so if you can't find something, they will help. Also, Aldi contracts with IC for curbside pick up. So the store employees are doing shop only orders, so you can usually find one of them out there scanning just like us.
