Sep 20, 2021 · The Infinity engine finally reached its full maturity, with more environment interactions, exploding barrels, customizable interface. Did I mention the barrels? Besides, I simply love the Dale setting, also thanks to the superb soundtrack by Inon Zur. Story- and exploration- wise, BG1 wins for me.

Apr 13, 2020 · IWD takes place around 100yrs before BG1. The style of the game is much different the BG series. Instead of being character focused it is more of a straight dungeon crawl with limited dialog and character interaction. I think the combat in IWD is more complex, in order to survive you need a better understanding of most game mechanics.

Fights involve a more detailed understanding of the game's magic system. EE vs Tutu are going to be pretty negligible in terms of difficulty difference.
