Dating back to 1976, the emblem of The U.S. Air Force Honor Guard is composed of crossed M-1 rifles silhouetted over a gold and silver Roman helmet. The emblem is complete with a scarlet red horsehair festoon on a field of ultramarine blue with the attached organization motto.

United States Air Force Honor Guard
The Honor Guard is a selectively manned unit with 212 ceremonial guardsmen and support personnel assigned. It is made up of three ceremonial flights, each with the primary color guard, body bearers and firing party qualifications.
