Jul 18, 2016 · If you want the better grand tourer, you will be VERY happy with the upgrade. If the car is just a toy to get your fix, I think the C6Z is the better machine. The newer car does not hold up as well at the track. Temps escalate quickly. Even the C6Z would run too hot... and now GM has added a blower and removed the oil cooler.

Dec 12, 2023 · If I wanted a primary vehicle or a grand tourer, I would choose the Stingray over the eRay. I chose the Z06 because to me is a weekend toy, is still great for road tripping of a couple hours+, the sound, the additional power, the better looks, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans-winning and IMSA/FIA WEC-winning race engine (history/legacy).

The AMG GT is not an exotic but the Maserati and DB11 are exotics but one is a Grand Tourer.....and the ZR1 will be a good amount lower than the Maserati an Aston Martin imo. Those cars are $200-300K+. I predict a base price of $150K and loaded to $200K fully optioned for the ZR1.
