FRIK is mostly plug and play with vortex, can confirm. Just make sure to calibrate once you load the save. I don’t use FRIK anymore personally, but when I did, it worked mostly out of the box, I’d recommend arms only mode unless you plan on trying virtual holsters or virtual chems too.

For first time players with FRIK if you want to play seated first calibrate your players height while physically standing then sit down and use OVR Advanced Settings to fix the offset. Then you can make a profile and label it FO4VR and just load that after starting up fallout.

Apr 6, 2024 · I finally got FRIK working on my game, but I'm having problems with a wide variety of weapons which makes them essentially unusable with the mod. Their positioning is all over the place and makes it functionally impossible to use. When I go through the settings and try the weapon repositioning option nothing seems to change at all.
