WEBJan 8, 2022 · Dayz runs terrible on PS5! My sons series x runs the game pegged at 60 fps in 4k and always looks crisp and vibrant. My ps5 on the other hand loses frames when its raining, loses frames then running through the woods and the water textures are broken.... also graphically it just doesn't look as good sadly.

WEBJust because you are playing it on PS5 doesn't mean there is a PS5 version. There is a PS4 version which may run better on PS5, possibly faster load times and maybe a steady frame rate depending on the frame rate cap. As for DayZ in general, you want to PC version. It is a very old game that can run well even on older machines.

WEBApr 11, 2021 · I have a PS5 and played Dayz on PS4 too and I can say this: It looks better, It loads quicker, the texture pop in are minimal and it's still broken as fuck. I would rather play on PS5 because at it looks visibly better but it's the same core console problems. I can't even imagine trying to play this game on a console.

WEBJul 23, 2021 · The reason why Series X/S can run it at 60fps is because the One X is 60fps since it's being run through backwards compatibility, PS4 and PS4 Pro are both capped at 30fps and since PS5 runs it through backwards compatibility that's why it's 30fps on PS5.
