Feb 22, 2024 · CPDs probably wouldn't work out well with dwarf gourami or rummy-nose tetras. Dwarf gouramis can get too aggressive, and rummy-nose may out compete them for food. If you omit the CPD's, I think you're stocking plan could work. If you want to keep the CPD's, you'd probably need to choose different tank mates.

In communitytank the males cruise between females "owning" a specific plant. In a species only tank they tend to school more (and to be more skittish)

Researching stock quantities some say 10 gallons and some say 5 gallons for a school of CDP. This is what the internet says it looks like, but when I went to a fish store the other day, the CPD's had NO color in them, I could barely even recognize them as CPD's.
