Oct 8, 2020 · Bearizona is a really great visit. First time I went I was a little concerned about what we’d see. Did they just chain a bear to a tree and call it a zoo? But it’s a huge wide open place for the animals to roam and be safe. And they’re a sanctuary for orphaned bear cubs. Really nice facility and my friends with kids tell me the kids LOVE it.

The drive-thru bit does not take super long but afterwards you can park and see the other animals and grab food at that awesome restaurant they have. If you have extra time I would grab a beer at Grand Canyon Brewing or stop at the little shops/restaurants along Rt 66.

Apr 7, 2015 · There were wolves, bears, mountain goats, bison, and tons more. Then, you can get out of the car and go into a more traditional zoo environment that has more bears and other animals. When we went, there were 9 or 10 bear cubs that were really active. They were running around and wrestling each other, climbing and jumping off of trees, etc.

Flag is a beautiful town with loads of things to do, Little America is a nice resort hotel, and Williams is about 45 minutes away. Flagstaff would definitely have more amenities than Williams, which is a very tiny little town. Reply.
