Uppers BCM or Aero - AR15.COM
Apr 5, 2020 · I believe Aero makes more of their own parts than BCM. BCM uses a thermal fit on their uppers while Aero uses compression fit. One thing I like about BCM is their barrel nuts. There is one barrel nut system on Aero that I really don’t like. I use Aero parts to build most of my stuff, but BCM rails are better.

Dec 17, 2021 · Aero precision bcg use mim parts. BCM bcg are made by microbest and have tool steel parts, and chrome lining. If you are trying to get as much rail as possible for your barrel check out SLR. Thier rail lengths come in many incremental sizes and are rock solid. Midwest industries rails are excellent as well.

Mar 10, 2017 · I most likely won't roll the dice with them now until they clean up their act. I just finished my 1st Aero Precision upper, lower and bcg build. I penciled out the spec-sheet last fall and started with Aero Precision and ended with Cerakote. I hammered out 300 rounds from 5-200 yds - 100% reliability.

I like the Aero Precision Lower features better but I like the look of the PSA assembled uppers better than the Aero Handguards. I can build a complete PSA for about $250 less than the Aero Price.

Went the aero route as I refuse to pay $400+ for a BCM lower or $375 for a blem BCM lower (will snag one when I find one at a reasonable price) Snagged a compete magpul aero lower on sale, and have heard good things about the fit and finish!
