Jan 6, 2009 · I have a Polaris 2008 Sportsman 500 HO. I started to put my pure polaris winch on Saturday... no problems... until I got to the point to hook up the solenoid. The Red and Black wires that go to the 2 center lugs on the solenoid are incased in moleded plastic, they will not fit on the solenoid due the raised tabs on the top of the solenoid switch.

Today I plowed as usual and when I was just about finished, the plow would not go down and the winch is stuck. It wont budge. I cant remove the plow cause there is no slack.

Warn plow and winch kit $579 with shipping and probably 3 hours for an install. So far she runs like a top and I have a year to ad on the 4 year extended warranty for $580. The way she runs I might just keep my money.
