WEBApr 13, 2022 · The M28U has the size of 28.6" or something, IIRC, and that would be my perfect resolution/size. I'll take 24 or 27 inch, I have used 40 inch 4K and prefer the smaller size for eye comfort. 24 inch is my ideal monitor size. I will continue to use 1080p until proper monitors are made 24 inch with higher resolution.

On the deliver tab I added all the video files together and render to custom, format MP4, codec H265, resolution UHD, frame rate 23.976, quality 48000 kbps. The file renders to 20.1Gb.

By doing this (as opposed to 3840 x 3840), you're not adding pixels to the vertical edge, and unless your source resolution is higher than 2160px, you'd be losing quality expanding to fill the longer vertical edge.

You can also use MPEG Stream Clip, but imo, you are better off putting it through Davinci do your grade and export it as a 1080 ProRes HQ.

The 80-20 rule is a thing, and 4k video still looks really good, even if you aren't streaming it at 35000 kbps. I usually go with 3300 kbps for tv shows and 5500 kbps for movies. Your call.
