From Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Route 19 is the name of several numbered routes in the Pokémon world : Route 19 in Kanto, stretching between Fuchsia City and Route 20. Route 19 in Unova, stretching between Aspertia City and Floccesy Town. Route 19 in Kalos, stretching between Couriway Town and Snowbelle City.

It connects Fuchsia City in the north to Route 20 in the south. In Pokémon Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold, and SoulSilver, Route 19 is initially blocked off by giant boulders sent there by a volcanic eruption on Cinnabar Island.

Route 19 starts from Aspertia City and twists its way round to the east where Floccesy Town is situated. It is here where Bianca will give the tutorial on how to catch wild Pokémon. A Youngster on this route will inform the player about ledge jumping.

Route 19 appeared in Pinsir Changes as one of the locations that Tierno and Shauna searched to find the Mega Stones for X 's Rute and Y 's Solsol. There, they found a pile of motionless Pokémon that had their life energy drained by Team Flare. After moving the Pokémon, Tierno and Shauna obtained the Pinsirite.
