    In fact, Domo-Kun is the mascot of the Japanese TV network NHK, and it appears in many short films using the technique of stop-motion. Domo-Kun is a small brown creature that looks like a strange monster; it has black button-shaped eyes and an open mouth that reveals its sharp teeth.
    Domo-Kun (どーもくん Dōmo-kun) was initially the official mascot of Japanese television station NHK [1] (日本放送協会, Nippon Hōsō Kyōkai). The station introduced the character in December 1998 [2] with several stop-motion sketches made to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the station being on air.
