Mar 1, 2019 · alas i tried myself and i want to go through a thing that needs no money and works for 1.12.2 but no results. i hoped there was a mod that makes servers ran by the mod and can only be played on by that mod but nope. you expect easy stuff but NOPE. there has to be some unclear thing or needs a seperate minecraft account and all that.

I'm looking for other people to play with who are at the same level of knowledge as me and love building, automating and just having a good time! I understand how most mods work and I am very comfortable with most mod packs.

Apr 7, 2017 · The good news is, just about any up to date PC that comes with 8 GB of RAM will probably be enough to play any mod just fine. The graphics card doesn't really come into play too much until you start using high-res textures and shaders, so save that kind of thing for a desktop. You don't necessarily NEED those things.

Or heck, try a lighter pack (like, say, ShneekeyCraft for 1.7.10 on the ATLauncher ) that gives you some options, but doesn't overwhelm you. Let you get adjusted to how dynamically the game changes. Go from there.

Most mods (all "normal" mods) build on Forge, they take the output of forge's changes to minecraft, and build on that as a platform. Bukkit does the exact same thing, edits the minecraft code, and plugins build on that edited code to work.
