Jul 19, 2022 · I installed Zscaler on a standalone laptop. It was bought through work but is not a corporate device. I can now access emails which is good. Only issue is I can't choose to disable the service as it's showing as NOT_STOPPABLE when I query it. I can't stop it using computer management services.

I have found the relevant policies, and they are managed by groups that staff are members of in AAD; however, some of the staff are able to still disable without passwords are members of these groups, so for some reason the policy isn’t applying to these few.

We've noticed that even when clicking TURN OFF under Service Status, the iOS devices remain connected to the "VPN." going into the device settings we cannot disable the VPN unless we go into the Zscaler profile and turn off "connect on demand." Re-opening the Zscaler app, re-enabled connect on demand, and the loop continues.

Jun 29, 2022 · Office 365 feature in zScaler interesting. Is there a setup guide for this? Basically, my company doesn't manage ZScaler. We just install it for the customer. Their parent company manages it, so we have to tell them what needs to be changed. They didn't even give us the uninstall password for it, it's really annoying.

Sep 1, 2023 · I tried to login via Zscaler and got some weird issues. I figured I might just set my system back to factory settings and get started again (since it has worked before). The strange thing now is: Whenever I install Zscaler and authenticate with my company, Zscaler is blocking all my Internet connection (via mobil data, WLAN and LAN) afterwards.
