The problem is Yeonmi Park makes grandiose and generalised claims based on her personal experience and limited recollection of childhood inside North Korea. She left the country in 2007 at the age of 13. Disregarding the fact that she has lied and been an unreliable narrator in the past, her age at defection alone makes her opinions questionable.

This show aired for 12 years now featuring guests consisted of defectors, South Korean TV personalities, academics, former intelligent agents, etc. This is the show that Yeonmi Park was first introduced as "then" a recent young defector until she immigrated to America.

I just checked "Yeonmi Park lies" and the only results are tiktoks (chinese owned) and r/northkorea, so i'm gonna assume she says the true about her personal experience. I'm gonna need more context about that.
