Can someone explain me the Yakuza hierarchy structure?
In Yakuza's case, the chairman of the Tojo clan is at the top of the hierarchy. The HQ has various positions of power. The people who take those positions are drawn from the heads of the top level gangs in the hierarchy (chokkei in Japanese - literally, direct line). And that's the case further down the hierarchy too.

Never thought the game franchise would be up my alleyway, but the gameplay has intrigued me I ain’t entirely sure what yakuza to start playing first, however my main curiosity is how the hierarchy works.
