Introduction to radiographic exposure and technique to include a brief introduction to the history of the x-ray machine, x-ray production, and basic interactions. Topics of radiographic quality will be covered in detail to include exposure, density, contrast, distortion, recorded detail, and noise.

The program prepares individuals to become Radiologic Technologists specializing in Radiography. These medical imaging specialists are sometimes referred to as X-Ray Technologists or Radiographers. Supervised clinical rotations will be performed in basic areas of radiologic technology at assigned clinical sites. The clinical credit hours have been equally assigned to the five program clinical courses.
