Best feats for a Wizard - EN World
Nov 15, 2004 · As to feats, a lot of good wizard feats which you ought to take early on don't actually kick in until later. Empower spell and Craft Wondrous Item are both excellent for example but only get good at 5th and 8th level respectively. Right now your probably best off taking Improved Initiative if you don't have it already.

D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5] What's a good wizard feat for level 6? - EN World
May 15, 2011 · Those are all 1/day. I think the circumstances in which those feats would be worth taking are few and far between. I personally tend to swap out Scribe Scroll for other alternate class features. Combat Wizard trades Scribe Scroll and the bonus meta-magic feats at every five levels for a fighter feat at 1st and every five levels.
Good feats for Illusionists - EN World
Apr 19, 2008 · Master Specialist (Complete Mage) is one of the ultimate goal for a specialist wizard build, and it does not have racial restrictions. So take Spell Focus (Illusion) and advance to that class. As for feat, that same book has some reserve feats. Extra abilities granted by those feats are not so great.
The 3 Wizard Feats | EN World D&D & Tabletop RPG News
Apr 27, 2018 · Once a Wizard max out INT; it comes down to options. Let's succeed on those concentration checks 1) The Resilient (con) feat 2) Warcaster Feat but the seldom mentioned 3) Lucky Feat Most cases I would say that Resilient trumps Warcaster. But it …
D&D 5E Feat Balance: Healing Feats - EN World
Oct 30, 2016 · Feats aren't balanced. Not remotely. I love that feats are supposed to be balanced around a +2 ability score bonus. It gives us a good baseline for how good feats should be. Many miss this mark. I've been looking into healing in 5E. My DM style, having fewer, more challenging fights, has been requiring a lot of healing for my players' characters.
D&D 5E Magic Initiate - A guide to an underestimated (and cool) …
Dec 11, 2015 · Intrigue, framing, deception, entrance in parties, you name it. Many will say that a one-level dip in wizard or bard or even the Arcane Trickster is better, and it could be, but in the long run I'd much rather get a capstone or another archetype than that. * III: The Believer Spells' class: Cleric Cantrips: Guidance, Spare the Dying/Thaumaturgy
What are good spells or feats to complement Summoning spells?
Feb 9, 2002 · What would be some good feats/spells to complement summoning? Some obvious choices would be Augment Summmoning or the Extra Spell feat. I was thinking of taking Simbul's Spell Matrix (5th) so that I could cast a buffing spell on my summoned creature as a free action right after I summon it (e.g. haste, fly, see invisibility).
D&D 5E Best armored wizard? - EN World
Feb 4, 2016 · Still, it seems the best option for heavy armor wizard, as non-multiclass wizards have to burn to many feats and as multiclassing elsewhere loses spell slots (e.g. fighter multiclass gives -1 spell slots for +1 ac and bonus action to heal 1d10+1 or -2 spell slots for +1 ac, bonus action to heal +1d0 +3, action surge and spells of eldritch ...
D&D 5E Mirror Gish? (Echo Knight/Bladesinger) - EN World
Sep 15, 2021 · Start as Wizard 1 for wisdom then do fighter 1 to get the weapons and bonus action heal then the rest like you said originally or if you prefer the 4 hit points and constitution start as F1 and then do wizard to 6. In either cast though I would go straight to Wizard 6 after only 1 level in Fighter.
