Jun 27, 2023 · With engine running and 2 yellow AVR wires connected, but other 4 AVR wire-plug diconnected, I measured: 1. between the 2 yellow exciter winding, the VAC is about 18VAC (down from 20VAC with no load) 2. between the Light Green + Brown pins from the 4-wire plug, the VDC is about 18~19 VDC. So this **seems** good for AVR.

That means the secondary winding is thicker and less resistance (per linear inch, foot, meter - whatever). Hooking a winding designed for 110 volts to 220 volts will tend to be catastrophic to the transformer.

Q0 would be the LSB in up or down mode with a weight of 2^0. The naming of the Q outputs can vary but its always in weighted order i.e. MSB->LSB is Q3->Q0, QD->QA etc.
