THe windows have an extruded exterior rather than a roll form like you would see on many production wood window these days. They are pretty nice windows and can be custom ordered to any size and width, for retro fit.

They never sat without paint and the windows were properly installed. They said it's my fault because of the 1/32 gap that is there now at the leading edge (bottom of casing at sill) wasn't caulked.

Sep 17, 2020 · Honestly, unless you buy cheap, bottom of the line vinyl windows, you will be fine. Plygem are good windows. I install a lot of them. Customer service after the sale is good in our area. The only caveat I have is if you are in a very cold climate. And then as long as the windows have the weatherization rating you want, you are good.
