Oct 18, 2015 · When denoting a footnote, the asterisk is the first-choice symbol... if a second footnote is required, that's when the dagger is used. These two symbols have probably been repurposed into printed team lists during the 19th century. A double dagger would have denoted a third footnote, but cricket didn't need to list a third specific player role.

Jan 17, 2023 · The vertical bars are the dividers between measures. The time is 4/4 so each measure is counted as 1-2-3-4 (they even wrote the numbers in to help you). Every strum in this particular tune is also all downstrokes, 1-2-3-4 (as shown by the wicket symbol over the staff. If there were a V symbol it would be upstroke.

Yeah it’s really weird, I had the extension all set up, and today it kept not working and saying it wasn’t updated (I updated everything, uninstalled it, reinstalled it, even tried on a different browser and downloading the extension fresh and it said it was out of date) and going default just says it can’t verify and I tried later today and now apparently the server isn’t responding ...
