“South Park” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone secured an agreement to purchase Casa Bonita, a restaurant and entertainment center in Lakewood, Colorado that is the setting of a popular episode of their TV show.

Casa Bonita will soon, officially, be in the “South Park” creators’ hands. Six weeks after Trey Parker and Matt Stone publicly said they planned on buying the legendary Colorado restaurant, filings in federal bankruptcy court this week show the comedy duo have moved to purchase Casa Bonita for $3.1 million.

Cartman, Kyle, Kenny and Stan are on their way to West Colfax Avenue: Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the Coloradans who created South Park, have signed an official contract to buy Casa Bonita for $3.1 million.

Formerly part of a small chain and having been passed around in ownership for decades, Casa Bonita was, like many restaurants, threatened with permanent closure earlier in the COVID pandemic. In summer 2021, however, help arrived when Trey Parker and Matt Stone bought the restaurant.
