Oct 27, 2021 · Ever since I have upgraded to windows 11 I have been having trouble opening image files (.jpg, .jpeg, .png) using the default "Photos" application. I get the following message: "The specified procedure could not be found" Weirdly enough, if I right click on the file and use "open with" and chose the default Photos app it works.

Mar 13, 2023 · Right now I have a shortcut on my desktop to the "Pictures" version, which I guess is the old MS version. In my list of Apps (from Start Menu), I see Microsoft Photos, which is the awful version (2023.11080.4003.0), but not the Pictures "App." What I have found out is MY "Pictures" app works, but sometimes it stops.
