WRC 9 still has a micro stutter that's noticeable and highly annoying in a racing title. Thankfully I got a key for only $30 USD (it pained me to pay that due to the Epig exclusivity.) I would have been highly pissed if I'd paid $60 for the deluxe edition or $50 for the standard with the game being a mess like it is.

WRC 9 is slippier, snappier, twitchier, less grip, and needs more weight transfer consideration so you cannot just slam on the brakes late and slide your car and sustain the slide with a handbrake that long anymore. If you use handbrake a lot in WRC 8, your handbrake usage and duration will be cut and shorter by about 50% in WRC 9.

refund it and get wrc 10, if you have the extra 10$. I played 8, 9 and Generations, Generations is the best but if it's out of your list go for 9. WRC 7 is easier imho. I played generations for a little bit and enjoyed it, but only a handful of hours. Bought EA WRC on launch and am finally playing it.

Apr 2, 2021 · Second, this same concept of higher dynamic range (more workable rotation angle) also highlighted that WRC 9 very realistically simulates steering sensitivity based on speed. At slow speed, more steering angle is required to get the car to turn. And handbrake (or button mapped to handbrake) is NEEDED!
