    Side effects

    A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including

    • For powder products : Measure dose using a dosing spoon/cup/syringe. Dissolve in water and drink.
    • For powder in packet products : Measure accurately & mix into liquid or soft food.
    • For tablet products : Tell RPh if allergic to peanuts or soy.
    • For tablet, extended release products : Do not chew or crush. OK to split tablet if scored.
    • For tablet, chewable products : Chew medicine completely before swallowing. Chewable tabs can break down enamel in teeth.
