Oct 3, 2023 · Also known as the "Black Bunny" squadron or at least an F-14 had the Playboy bunny on the tail. I dunno, someone will come along and correct me as Reddit always brings out "that guy". It’s the Demon of Razgriz. I believe it’s part of the VX-9 test squadron. I’m not exactly sure though. The tail graphics are a 2 lightning bolts and a bat that’s VX 9

Aug 8, 2007 · David - There were a total of FOUR Black Bunny F-14s. Two in temp black paint (the one other than '444 was done up for "Moon" Vance's retirement as CO of VX-4). Then of course, the "permanent" F-14A and F-14D. '444 was on display at the 87 or 88 Mugu open house in the black color scheme.
