Mar 19, 2024 · You’re applying for a UX position, so make your resume UX friendly. Get rid of those large chunks of text. Stick with bullet points, short and sweet. Condense it to 1 page. Get rid of “references available upon request” - it’s not necessary to put. The header also doesn’t need to take up so much space. Feb 3, 2023 · ATS is trying to build your profile by grabbing chunks of your resume and putting them into fields — experience, education, skills, tools, etc. If, say, experience and education are in two separate columns vertically, but in the same place horizontally, the parser can get confused and put them both in the same field, which garbles all of that text.
