I have to say after driving a manual f250 for a number of years, I'm much more pleased with the 6r140 than any manual. There's really no reason for a manual with autos the way they are now.

All modern European trucks have automated transmission as the default option. The first truck that was sold with automated by default was Iveco Stralis in 2001. The manual transmission is mostly used for special applications trucks.
