Aug 17, 2020 · The legendary Torrent Duck (Merganetta armata) inhabits rivers and Andean streams of rapid flow, usually can be seen resting on the rocks. This bird measures between 38 and 48 cm, the males have a black and white coloration, while the females are orange with gray.
