May 28, 2020 · If you have 4 wheel drive or the 6 lug wheels, 15" wheels won't clear the brake calipers, it needs at least 16" or larger. The width of 8" vs 7" doesn't make a difference. But offset or backspacing can make a difference.

I also would like to know what is the biggest tire i could run on the wheels you suggest.

Every new wheel I find that is 15x8 or 15x7 with the 6x 5.5 bolt pattern has a different offset listed. I need to know what I can directly replace my factory wheels ...

Feb 4, 2012 · Im looking to replace the factory 15X7 wheels on a 99 TRD and I want to keep the stock stire size. Most of the 15s out there are have 3.75" of BS and I dont want the tires to stick out past the fenders. What choices are there for a 15X8 wheel with 4.5'' backspacing? I know about the Wheelers Type A but just would like to know what else is out ...

Jun 3, 2024 · 3. OEM offset sets the edge of the tires just inside the lip of the wheel well. The other wheels had a +25 offset, so they poked ever so slightly, which I thought looked good, but in the rain or on gravel, they tossed spray and gravel up the side of the truck. Hoping this lessens with the new combo.

Nov 11, 2018 · I rubbed on 31x10.5x15 BFG KO2 on 15x8 -19 wheels on stock height. Very minor and it was just on the plastic liner at full lock. And by very minor I mean it's so minor that it barely even leaves a mark but I can hear it. Once I raised it 1.5", the rubbing is gone.
