I was able to load the bluestacks android emulator onto my Windows PC and this allowed me to load the Tesla app. I now have full control of my PW's while on my PC rather than having to be on my phone. Very cool. And I can get larger screen shots

Oct 18, 2017 · The built in web server in the gateway already provides some data, and with 1.9.0 it got a little better. I imagine at some point it will likely offer the same controls as the smartphone app. Maybe they'll offer a full web-based UI on Tesla.com at some point. It seems illogical to build desktop PC apps.

Aug 23, 2019 · When I load the official Tesla app, I have two profiles - one being for the 'old' (now defunct) PW2 profile and the other for the 'new' (now current) PW2 profile. This is supported by the fact that when I use the Powerwall Companion app to browse historical data for the year it populates with data previous to the replacement.

Jul 28, 2020 · Any third party app uses an unofficial API that is not documented, certainly not supported by Tesla, and actual operation is a best effort test, verify, and repeat. If you go to your service center with the output of an app pulling from an unofficial source, they will (hopefully) respectfully tell you to pound sand.

Mar 7, 2018 · This is a great app! It is nice to see the warranted capacity. Mine shows over 100%, since Tesla's starting capacity is about 15kWh and their stated starting capacity is 13.2 (the number Tesla claims as the starting point for 70% degradation over 10 years). Makes it simple to see where you are at.
