Our Story. Terre Rouge and Easton Wines was founded in the late 80s by husband and wife team Bill Easton and Jane O’Riordan. Winemaker Bill Easton began his career in the wine business working for small California wineries.
2016 TERRE ROUGE Syrah, Côtes de l'Ouest, California
These vines are cultivated west (ouest) of our winery on small, sandy loam hills (côtes) just outside the Amador County appellation, a few miles from the Mokelumne River. In the tradition of our other syrahs, this wine has great flavor intensity and mouthfeel.
2021 TERRE ROUGE Viognier - Fiddletown (Estate) Bottled in late March 2022 our 2021 Viognier is organically-grown on our Fiddletown estate in granitic soils. Zesty fresh, floral, and spicy aromatics with fruit notes that suggest classic white peach and apricot flavors.
Domaine de la Terre Rouge specializes in wines made from Rhône Valley varietals. For this wine we were inspired the wines that originate a bit further South along the coastal Mediterranean were vineyards grown along side the garrigue or the local chaparral in places like Baux de Provence with the unique producer Domaine Trévallon.

Most of these wines are not available as 750ml bottles (sold out), so this is a chance to taste these older gems.
