Feb 11, 2017 · If you're having trouble running a custom modpack you can usually contact the modpack author and they will have the direct download link. I don't know what you would do for Technic packs (need to ask the Technic staff). Although this doesn't benefit Technic please note if you're really having trouble you may find your pack on a different launcher.

Mar 29, 2013 · Technic does not support that (custom ZIPs) any longer on the new Platform. However, you can still install extra mods onto the modpacks like it is your normal .minecraft folder. Go to your AppData\Roaming\.technic (or whatever folder chosen for the TechnicLauncher files). Then look for the modpack you want to download to.
