Oct 26, 2011 · I have a Synology 115, and I can't do anything with the files on it. I think I need to run the disk diagnostics. However, I can't figure out how to get them started. I can get to Control Panel, but I don't see anything there that will lead me to Storage Manager.

Jul 5, 2021 · I have a newly configured RS3621RPxs (DSM 6.2.4-25556), I hace created one storage pool and one volume. The Storage Manager overview indicates that all is healthy, but when I click on the Storage Pool I don't see the storage pool that I created or the volume. I have no ideas of what can be happening. Has anyone experienced this before.

Mar 14, 2013 · After about the first 3 drives got swapped pretty easily and as predicted. I am using Synology's hybrid raid. On the last drive, after about 10 hours I checked on it and when I go to the Storage Manager, it just says loading and shows no progress, then times out.

Oct 26, 2022 · The disks reporting errors are not in the Synology anymore. I changed all of them. I run a quick and an extended S.M.A.R.T tests, and the new disks report healthy to both of them . I do not know if there is an extended report from the test, or any other place where I could see the nr of bad sectors . Synology still reports Warnings in the pool

Jun 9, 2015 · The disk 1 (one of the 2 4Tb) appeared as disconnected but I was able to join it again to the volume (note: the health status of the disk is good and all four drives show as green and "normal" in the storage manager). Still after a reboot, the volume stays degraded and the manage button is greyed out.
