I typically brew a 1:1 coffee to water concentrate, so I would assume you would want to use about 1-1.5 C of coffee for ready to drink coffee, depending on how strong you like your coffee. I get good results with 250g in a gallon mason jar. Try 125g.

Jun 21, 2020 · Very coarsely (coarser than regular French Press) grind 60g of coffee. Add 1L of water, give it a good stir. Pop the lid on, pop it in the fridge and leave it for 24 hours. Then, take off the lid, screw the filter back on and pour it into a flask/container.

Putting a dollar-store cotton pad in the filter before the coffee did the trick. No grinds in the coffee, no taste, and for $1.50CDN for 100 pads, it adds no more than 1.5 cents/pad, and because we use the multiple cups per filter above, $1.50 worth of pads will last 3-4 months.

Sep 10, 2022 · Depending on how short the notice is, you can sun brew coffee and as long as it stays under 120 degrees, it’s still cold brew. I have had good luck with glass jar in direct sunlight doing 3 hours at 75-degrees. Adjust 30 min per 5-degree weather change (3.5 hrs if its 70 outside, 2.5 hrs if its 80, 2 hours if 85, etc).

Mar 1, 2016 · This is a wild guess but dry processing coffee is sort of like roasting coffee dark. Dry processing leaves the fruit on the coffee bean so a lot of sugar gets incorporated into the bean giving a sweeter taste. Similarly, roasting coffee dark cooks a lot of its natural compounds giving it a more caramel richer taste.
