Mar 21, 2020 · I used a Stuska for 911 engines back in the '80s but it went away when that shop closed. I'm interested in putting an engine dyno in my shop for m four and early six rebuilds. Any suggestions on what I should consider?

Some Dynamometers use water as a load mechanism during engine testing. Water flow proportional to desired applied load is used to create resistance to the engine or motor. A controlled flow of water is directed at the absorber center, and via centrifugal force, is expelled towards the outside of the dynamometer and into the stator.

Jun 2, 2016 · My 408W was dynoed by the most experienced dyno guy in the country. He uses Stuska and there are couple of others with superflows. He told me up front that his dyno will give more conservative numbers than the SF's. He was a bit surprised, when my engine made what I expected it to. Got me curious if that is typical.

Any good dyno header suppliers that you guys like?
Jan 3, 2025 · Need something like a sprint car or T-bucket where it goes out and away before dropping down. You can see the Stuska dyno cart in the pick, I need to get away from the vertical motor mounts. FYSA we tried all kinds of movement of the vertical to potantially make different stand to block mounts, the 2 inch headers I have just hit hard.
