May 21, 2023 · I have a general mob farm that uses tnt duping to kill the mobs in my perimeter, I found it on the tech MC archive discord, it has around 230k drops/h and a lot of string, even a decent amount of notch apples. Other than that a regular spider farm above the ocean could do. Or piglin bartering if you have a gold farm.

Jan 25, 2023 · You set up the tripwire with two strings, break one string with shears and right away activate the switch to open the trapdoors (before the game realizes the tripwire is broken). Once you did that successfully one time, you can switch on and off the the device. (There are only two solid water sources placed at the upper spots, not four)

Jul 7, 2023 · Like I said, the manual duper is super slow and, well, manual. It's not exactly a good method if you need string in bulk, like say, for villager trading. Mostly good if you only need a few. That's why I recommended just doing wool-to-string for the sake of farming. Hell, you could even use a datapack to add the recipe.
