Straight edge is about being the best you that you can possibly be, and that absolutely should include taking prescribed medications.

Straight Edge means you stay inline with legality and don't have chemical methods of escapism.. Being sober is just the absence of drugs and alcohol in your life. Straight edge is being stoked about being drug free, and generally just free.
