Jun 25, 2013 · Over the past several years I've needed help from the police 1-2 time and they haven't helped me. Now I've been stopped in my car several times in the last six months. Each time they have searched my car and once I had to do a sobriety test (4 different ones). They have been rude and insulting each time, but let me go.

Apr 30, 2015 · Depends on what is going on and, obviously, the person being written to. If that person has psychiatric issues it is far less likely to work. But most people who get a cease and desist letter outlining their harassing actions and the various criminal laws their continued unwanted contacts may violate, will stop or curtail their activities.

To me, this is harassment and I'd like to put a stop to it. The paperwork he slides under my door says Title 13, United States Code, Section 182 gives him the authority. He won't stop. Jul 25, 2014 · I filed Bankruptcy in Nov 2012 (discharged 3/13). I informed DCFS of the Bankruptcy in April 2013, but they keep sending me over payment notices. Received 2 notices in the last 30 days. I call them each time I receive them and say I filed Bankruptcy but the notices of action keep coming.
